Shortlist Terms
These terms apply to Evalgist Shortlist, operated by Evalgist BV, Bosstraat 13, 9820 Merelbeke, Belgium. Evalgist may change, suspend, or withdraw the service or individual features.
Shortlist is an evaluation support tool. It parses application documents, compares them with user-defined criteria, and produces evidence-backed summaries, scores, and exports. It does not make hiring, selection, or rejection decisions. The customer and its users remain responsible for every decision and for any communication with candidates.
Users may upload candidate documents only when they have a lawful basis and authority to do so. Shortlist must not be used as the sole basis for a decision that materially affects a person. Users must review the source documents and quoted evidence before relying on any output.
Credits, starter grants, and paid credit packs may be used to run analyses. Paid credit purchases are handled through Stripe Checkout. Prices, credit ratios, and refund conditions are shown before payment and may be adjusted for future purchases.
Extracted document text is deleted after analysis. Original uploaded files are retained for up to 14 days for recovery and support, and can be deleted earlier from the product. Evidence-backed results, quotes, notes, and exports remain until the customer deletes the job, account, or relevant record.
Users must not upload unlawful content, credentials, production secrets, malware, or documents they are not authorised to process. Evalgist may suspend access when needed to protect the service, control abuse, meet a legal obligation, or prevent excessive AI or payment risk.
The service is provided without uptime commitment. Evalgist's aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for Shortlist in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Belgian law governs these terms, and the courts of Ghent have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
